Zorila

Zorila is an indie-rock group based in Chicago, IL. The band began as a sonic collision between musicians, Stewart Arp (vocals, guitar), Henry Arp (bass, vocals), Nate Finn (guitar), and Anthony Hish (Drums).

In their humble beginnings, ZORILA could be found in small bars, county fairs, and house parties in Champaign, IL.

After their 2019 debut release “Sidney”, the band began to grow in popularity and as a result moved to Chicago, IL and signed a distribution deal with Electric Train Records (The Orchard). As their popularity began to spread, so did the COVID-19 virus, and the band was forced to cancel their tour plans and refocus their efforts.

During the pandemic, ZORILA managed to release two singles, “Wayside” and “Promenade” as well as add two new members David DeAngelis (violin, keys) and Michael Brook (saxophone, keys) to expand their dynamic range and sonic development.

Following the release of their EP Addison, founding member Henry Arp (Bass, Vox) departed from the band to join the United States Military. Michael Salgado (Bass) joined the band in February 2023.
